阿加莎.克里斯蒂是西方社会家喻户晓的侦探小说作家。随着其作品《尼罗河上的惨案》、《东方快车谋杀案》进入中国,其作品魅力逐渐折服了东方读者。情节上,作者创造了"最有可能的"、"最不可能的"和"圈内人"三种侦探模式;推理中,作者对犯罪心理匠心独具;表达上,作者借用暗示、民谣、谚语,渲染气氛,烘托情节;人物上,作者塑造了"红玫瑰和白雪花"两种对立的女性。所有这些也许并不都符合传统的文学评价标准,但他们确实成了克里斯蒂小说不可或缺的魅力元素。

Christie Agatha is a well known detective novelist in west.With the introduction of her fiction----Death on the Nile and Murder on the Ori-ent Express,her fiction has attracted more and more Chinese audience.In viewof her plotting,she creates three types of detective plotting,which are "poten-tial possibility","potential impossibility" and "insiders".As to her detective deduction,she employs the crime psychology.In addition,her language tech-niques include suggesting,popular ballads and proverbs,complementing the plotting tactfully.In the aspect of characterizing,she portrays two contract char-acter types----"Red Rose" type and "White Snowflake" type.Although the above elements do not necessarily meet the standard of traditional literature e-valuation,these factors do become the indispensable part in her fiction and contribute to immense charm of his fiction.
